About the Role
We are seeking a talented Digital Content Producer with strong copywriting experience to create compelling digital content for research, student recruitment and internal communications. Located in the central Marketing Team and the College of Nursing and Health Sciences, you will apply your in-depth knowledge and experience in research writing, editing and publishing to deliver measurable outcomes which align with university and college priorities envisioned in the 2025 Agenda.
As the Digital Content Producer, you will also produce and coordinate engaging content for key projects by developing:
Web pages
Videos
Advertisements
Publications
Social Media content
Events
E-Newsletters and internal communications
About You
You will be a passionate and motivated Digital Content Producer, with demonstrated experience in research writing, editing and proof-reading content for online channels tailored to diverse audiences. High-level interpersonal skills will be the key to your success, allowing you to work collaboratively in a team environment and with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
An organised individual with problem-solving capabilities, high attention to detail and the ability to work independently, will possess the following attributes:
An in-depth knowledge and interpretation of industry best practice principles and standards for digital content across web, social and email marketing. This includes understanding the principals of information architecture, UX and UI, page design, content management and SEO as they relate to web production and publication.
Experience in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign for basic creative production
Well-developed experience working within a CMS and CRM. Experience in Adobe Experience Manager and Wordpress will be an advantage.
Completion of a degree in communications, media studies, marketing, or a related discipline with subsequent relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and / or education and / or training.
