We are looking for an SEO Content Writer to join our growing SEO team! You'll be responsible for curating SEO driven content for a large fashion retailer & a consumer health brand. Sat in the SEO team, you'll work collaboratively with SEO Managers to ensure your content is SEO optimised.
Responsibilities
Write, edit, optimise and proofread English Language web content for high-profile UK and international clients, working quickly and efficiently to deliver against deadlines
Execute work based on SEO best practices, building on SEO writing skills
Ensure content for clients in regulated industries is well-researched and rigorously supported with trustworthy external references
Understand clients' business and competitors in order to produce competitive content that performs strongly
Liaise with team members on a daily basis to discuss projects, tasks and workloads
Work with manager to drive cost efficiencies, ensure output is within scope of work and projects remains profitable
Assist in content auditing on an as-needed basis
Assist with ad hoc projects and administrative work as requested by Head of Department or Media Director
Qualifications
Essential
1-2 years in an SEO driven content position, preferably in agency
Experience in writing content for a variety of industries, eCommerce is preferable
Flawless command of written English
Experience in writing long-form English language copy to cover both British English and
Experience in writing copy guided by SEO best practices
Proficient in writing metadata (e.g. page title tags, meta descriptions, headings, alt text)
Ability to write at speed and deliver work within short time frames
Strong desk research skills
Solution-oriented mindset: you are able to respond positively and flexibly to change
Experience working to copy briefs
Experience writing to brand guidelines or Tone of Voice
Team player with good interpersonal skills
