The Role
As a Direct Response Copywriter at Force Factor, you will be responsible for creating persuasive and engaging copy that drives conversions, increases engagement, and builds brand loyalty. Your primary focus will be on crafting presale articles, advertising headlines, and ad copy that resonates with our target audience.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with our internal team to understand product features, benefits, and unique selling points, and translate them into compelling copy that effectively communicates the value proposition to customers.
Develop informative and persuasive presale articles that educate potential customers about our products, addressing their pain points, and showcasing how our offerings can meet their needs.
Write attention-grabbing advertising headlines and ad copy for various platforms, such as Amazon, paid social media (Meta, etc), and Google Ads, adhering to direct response marketing and SEO/SEM principles.
Tailor your writing style to fit the brand's tone and voice, maintaining consistency across all copy produced.
Collaborate with our creative and marketing team members to ensure copy and visuals align effectively, enhancing the overall impact of campaigns.
Ideal Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Psychology or a related field.
Proven experience in direct response/e-commerce copywriting, preferably in the field of nutrition supplements or health and wellness products.
Demonstrated expertise in crafting direct response copy, including advertising headlines, ad copy, and pre-sale articles.
Strong understanding of persuasive writing techniques, consumer psychology, and the ability to create compelling narratives that drive conversion.
Proficiency in conducting research to gather insights on target demographics, industry trends, competitive landscape, and SEO/keywording.
Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team.
Exceptional attention to detail, grammar, and proofreading skills to ensure copy is accurate and error-free.
Experience with A/B testing and data-driven optimization of copy is a plus.
Understanding or familiarity with FDA Compliance guidelines as it relates to nutritional supplements preferred, but not required.
Familiarity with emerging tech (AI/ChatGPT) + tools (Helium10, or comparable research tools) is a plus.
Passion for health, wellness, and nutrition is highly desirable.
