The purpose of the role:

Following the launch of a new Mail+ subscription offering, we are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Content Distribution Editor to join our dynamic team. The Daily Mail and MailOnline have been focusing on increasing the video and podcast output of the editorial team and we are now looking for someone with a passion for content distribution strategies, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of various platforms and channels.

The Content Distribution Editor will have responsibility for ensuring that all forms of content are distributed and published to the best of their abilities across the Mail ecosystem.

The role will be focused on maximising the potential of all Daily Mail branded content that is published and ensure that a 3600 approach is taken. The Content Distribution Editor will attend editorial conference as well as have visibility of the upcoming podcast and video schedule to ensure that all parts of the business are operating in harmony.

The role will also be required to provide detailed reports on the performance of various content as well as developing theories to develop the publishing strategy.

Key Skills:

Proven experience in content distribution, digital marketing, or a similar role.
Strong familiarity with the print/digital media landscape and understanding of current trends.
Strong understanding of various content distribution platforms and their algorithms.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in using analytics tools to measure and analyse content performance.
Familiarity with SEO best practices and principles.
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
