The Dotdash Meredith Summer Internship Program is a 10-week full-time program that runs from June 3rd through August 9th, based out of our New York office. The intern program consists of hands-on learning, opportunities to create work that has an impact on the business, and workshops that prepare you for post-college life (resume / interviewing), plus some fun events throughout the summer!
The rate for our DDM Summer Internship is $20/hour.

About the Team:
Dotdash Meredith is seeking an intern to join the editorial team of Parents, one of the largest and most well-respected parenting brands on the internet. We create high-quality, credible content for today’s families, prioritizing stories with values deeply rooted in diversity, equity, and inclusion.
About the Role:
The Editorial - Health/Parents Intern will work on a dynamic and fast-paced editorial team of all-star journalists, focused on evergreen parenting features in both health and lifestyle spaces, as well as ongoing updates of the Parents.com library. They’ll also get experience with cross-team collaboration, as they'll interact with social, news, marketing, growth, and more. Day-to-day duties will include:
Article updates
Author bio creation
Keyword/competitive research
Writing and first-pass editing
Cross-team collaboration with news, social, and special projects where needed (and aligned with individual interests)
Various projects that enrich the quality of our content
Pitching new article ideas
About You:
Creative and driven self-starter: You can take direction and run with it, asking questions up front to ensure you’re able to complete the task successfully.
Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
Digitally savvy: Experience using a content management system and SEO tools is a bonus.
Careful and inclusivity-minded: Part of developing editorial judgment and journalistic expertise is understanding how to report sensitively and skillfully on issues that affect marginalized groups. It means looking for stories in unlikely places and reporting them with important context.
