The Foundry is Dotdash Meredith’s state-of-the-art creative lab and content studio. We combine data and storytelling to form unparalleled and impactful custom content experiences. The home of some of the world’s most innovative and creative thinkers, the Foundry is driven by imagination, proprietary insights, and a passion for our work.
The in-house Branded Video team produces Foundry’s award-winning video content. We are seeking a passionate, client-facing, and experienced Senior Producer who loves video and audio storytelling and understands the nuances that come with creating custom videos on behalf of brands across a wide variety of categories, including Home, Food, Auto, Pharma, Retail, etc. The ideal candidate must keep abreast of the latest in digital video trends, know how to pair data and insights with innovation, have excellent communication skills, and be a diplomat when working with internal and external stakeholders. This role will report to the Executive Producer.

Vision and Strategic Leadership
Oversees and specializes in 3-4 lifestyle categories
Effectively communicates broader team vision
Communicates effectively with clients and sales on set to ensure client needs are met and content is being delivered against what has been sold
Manages Producers/APs and acts as a mentor and coach
Attends set for junior staff members to ensure projects are moving according to schedule and helps train junior staff on client on-set communication
Responsible for pricing programs in pre-sale, and creating budgets for post-sale
Works with Sales, Sales Marketing to effectively sell through ideas in pre-sale
Can quickly develop excellent cross-departmental relationships with internal stakeholders

Product Management Oversight and Practices
Responsible for time management of programs
Leads end-to-end production across budget levels, with focus on higher budget level programs
Command of end-to-end production practices including, but not limited to legal & standards
Excellent at negotiating with internal and external partners
Successfully manages campaign budgets for programs in his/her/their categories
Leads planning calls for video across departments and teams
Leads external communications with clients on set and on production calls
Ideates with Foundry on campaign strategy, and video production process in pre-sale
Must be willing to travel based on shoot location

III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.
Education:
B.A. or B.S. is preferred but not required.
Experience:
Minimum of 8 years experience as a lead producer in media at a network, digital company, or creative agency. Must be professional, diplomatic, and client-facing with a collaborative spirit.
Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Highly creative and equally business minded.
Must have previous experience in client services.
Must have excellent knowledge of the media industry.
Must be results-oriented, focusing on client satisfaction and return business.
Must be able to communicate effectively; verbally, in writing, and in person.

Must be able to multitask and manage multiple campaigns and projects.
Pay Range
Salary: $107,120 - $133,900
