The Editor will be responsible for editing internal and partner-facing copy and designs submitted for publication across all channels. The Editor will work closely with the Accounts/Performance, Copy, Content, Design, Social Media, Media, and Search departments in enforcing the best practices to established and ongoing iFrog and modern marketing standards.

Essential Functions

Work with the Executive Editor to plan and manage all daily editorial operations.
Act as a company-wide Quality Control pillar by verifying own work and the written and design work of primarily Copy, Content, Design, Social Media, Media, and Search departments for accuracy, competence, OEM compliance, and completeness.
Edit and/or produce advertising copy, content copy, social media copy, website banners, marketing emails, blogs, and all other critical partner or internal written correspondences.
Help prescribe changes in production functions such as creating, modifying, testing, and maintaining the best writing practices set forth by the Executive Editor for the Editorial Department.
Examine and submit appropriate partner website pages, advertising copy/images, and monthly creative assets for OEM compliance.
Utilize best practices, workflows, tools, and templates to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the publishing and producing processes across the Copy, Content, Design, and Social Media departments.
Partner with copywriters and the Design Department to develop taglines and other copy for images.
Examine and approve website pages developed by the Content Department.
As needed, produce creative, easy-to-read, and targeted content and copy for iFrog partners and iFrog.
Self-edit and edit copy to uphold iFrog editorial and plagiarism standards.
Meet with Accounts/Performance Department to establish marketing strategies surrounding copy.
Help develop and drive brand consistency for iFrog partners and iFrog across all produced assets.
Independently study marketing resources and keep up-to-date with industry standards and the evolution of the landscape when it comes to copy, design, compliance, and any other marketing assets.
The ability to work on a hybrid 3+2 office/work-from-home model (5 days at the office for the initial 90 days).
All other duties as assigned by iFrog Leadership.

Required Education And Experience

Bachelor’s degree required.
1-2 years of experience in long- and short-form copy editing.
1-2 years of experience in long- and short-form copy and content writing.
Excellent editing and self-editing skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Experience in managing multiple complex projects and deadlines.

Preferred education and experience (Not required, but considered a bonus):

Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or Communications.
Knowledge of marketing metrics, analysis, and interpretation.
Working knowledge of the automotive industry.
Recent Google Analytics certification(s).
Proficient with Google Suite.
Proficient with macOS.
