he Blade has an opening for a full-time Education Reporter to join our award winning newsroom.

Position responsibilities involve coverage of both secondary and higher education in Toledo and its suburbs, with some regional reporting as well. The reporter should be able to juggle meeting coverage, breaking news, and enterprise work as it relates to education coverage.

Successful candidates must have past newspaper experience and preferable experience covering education for a daily newspaper. Should

have the ability to work in a deadline setting. Must have good judgment and be able to work with others. Accuracy is a must as well as ability to multi-task. College degree required.
