This role will work on a team that produces commentaries, analysis, price assessments and other products related to the regional coverage of natural gas markets to help customers make informed trading and risk management decisions. Key responsibilities include: Understanding and covering the North American natural gas market, including supply and demand, prices, commodity flows, regulatory issues. Build cross-commodity knowledge in LNG, oil, power, renewable and related markets. Oversight of the creation of daily, weekly and monthly North American natural gas price indices, according to Energy Intelligence’s methodology and company standards. Keeping abreast of the market evolution on price hubs, pipeline flows, storage, production areas, demand changes and other factors that impact supply, demand and pricing. Providing strategic guidance on the natural gas pricing service and related analysis. Engaging with clients, market participants and government entities to learn about industry issues, strengthen the price survey through develop new data sources and contribute to the commercial growth of EI’s services. Analyzing trade activity data and incorporates market knowledge in publishing price assessments used by clients. Creating market commentary and report on prices and the factors moving North American natural gas markets (why prices are moving). Acting as a champion for Energy Intelligence's price data and natural gas services, including through client demos, webinars and contributing to sales and marketing initiatives. Developing and maintaining relationships with a broad base of industry contacts. Engage with contacts regarding pricing and methodology development.
