Position Summary:
The PR Supervising Associate role supports the creation and execution of integrated PR and social media efforts in lockstep with Media and Social COE team members. This role also helps promote EY’s business strategies, priorities, firmwide themes and image in the market.
Essential Functions of the Job:
Actively participate in the development of integrated-multi channel PR plans – including but not limited to proactive media outreach and social media amplification to promote the firm’s activities, leadership, content and crisis management.
Assist in collaborations with firm leadership, service lines, industries, regions, Americas Talent team and external PR agencies by building media relationships, creating social media collateral, drafting thought leadership and delivering strategic messaging to the market.
Learn the firm’s business objectives and aid in recommending/establishing PR programs that promote the firm/practice.
Help develop PR strategies to raise visibility of the firm and to gain coverage of EY insights and thought leadership through opportunities that include media interviews, participation on panels and communicating with external stakeholders― while amplifying on social channels.
Foster positive relationships with journalists and influencers to facilitate the promotion of the firm through a multi-channel approach in order to gain positive mentions.
Assist in promotion of EY through media briefings, news releases, conferences, round tables, social media and articles in order to gain positive exposure leading to business opportunities.
Aid in coordination of national PR strategies with global and sub-area public relations teams, as appropriate.
Learn to integrate PR program development with other relevant internal teams, such as Americas Marketing and Brand, Marketing and Communications.
