Freelance Writer

ETonline.com is looking for a skilled, pop culture-obsessed writer to produce digital content including but not limited to news articles, listicles, exclusive interviews and deep-dives for our digital platforms. You should have your finger on the pulse of what's trending in entertainment news in order to quickly write and pitch relevant, engaging pieces. This position is full-time, non-staff, with staffing opportunity.

Responsibilities:
· Write 5-10 engaging stories daily based on breaking news, exclusive interviews and trending stories surrounding the entertainment industry
· Dig into our ET original shoots to find original exclusive story angles, pitch bookings to advance stories and add relevant questions to our shoots
· Pitch articles and follow-ups according to relevant storylines trending across our site, the web and what will set us apart as newsmakers
· Quickly develop an understanding of what fits into ET’s brand while also looking for opportunities to cover untapped markets
· Maintain consistent brand tone and style in copy
· Make fast, accurate choices to ensure your stories are SEO-friendly while also being engaging and polished
· Available for occasional shifted schedules based on events or premieres
