China Correspondent

The Financial Times has a vacancy for a China-based Correspondent, who could be based in either Beijing or Shanghai. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a world-beating team of reporters working in a challenging and fascinating environment on one of the most important stories in the world.

This position reports to the Beijing Bureau Chief as part of a team of around half a dozen reporters based in Beijing, Shanghai or Shenzhen. Specific reporting beats will be assigned later depending on the experience of the candidate and the needs of the bureau but the focus will be on corporate and finance coverage.
