Responsibilities
Research, write, and edit high-quality content focused on stocks and shares, and related financial topics.
Collaborate with the content team to ensure accuracy, relevance, and compliance with industry regulations.
Review and edit content for clarity, grammar, style, and consistency to maintain high editorial standards.
Ensure content adheres to our guidelines, maintaining a professional and informative tone.
Verify facts, statistics, and data sources to ensure accuracy and credibility.
Stay up-to-date with market trends, industry news, and regulatory changes in the finance and investment world.
Conduct research on emerging investment products, trading platforms, and stock apps, providing insights to enhance the content strategy.
Collaborate with the SEO team to incorporate targeted keywords and optimize content for search engines without compromising readability or quality.
Monitor and analyse content performance metrics, making data-driven recommendations to improve visibility and engagement.
Requirements
Proven experience as a content editor or similar role, preferably within the finance or investment industry.
Strong understanding of stocks and shares, and related financial concepts.
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in using Wordpress (CMS) and a solid grasp of SEO principles.
Ability to conduct in-depth research and analyse data.
Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise multiple projects effectively.
