Senior Leveraged Finance Reporter

LevFin Insights, a Fitch Solutions Company, seeks a Leveraged Finance Reporter based out of our London office

LevFin Insights (LFI) provides news and commentary on the global leveraged finance markets to customers in banking, fund management, credit research and legal services. We cover bonds, loans, private credit, structured finance and special situations, and we’re looking for a reporter to cover European leveraged debt. You’ll be chasing news on primary issuance, digging into individual credits, uncovering emerging trends, turning data into stories, and more.

What You Need To Have

Demonstratable experience writing about credit, ideally leveraged finance or adjacent markets
A drive to break news in a fast-moving market
A clear understanding of what makes a great credit story, an appreciation of what makes markets tick, and curiosity about complex financing structures
Resilience and excellent inter-personal skills to build strong relationships with sources
Attention to detail, good time management, strong writing skills
