Responsibilities:

Take full ownership from conception to publish of live event video projects as assigned by Sr. Producer, including but not limited to:
Live event panel conversations and presentations
Longform compilations and interviews
Archival clips
Sizzle reels, teasers and trailers
Marketing assets
Work closely with Sr. Producer in tandem with Live team and Social team to understand each event and execute all video deliverables
Manage all matters, in coordination with Technical Producer of Live Events, related to video production & logistics on assigned projects, including but not limited to:
Scheduling of resources (crew, equipment, talent/subjects)
Booking travel
Creating and distributing call sheets
Renting equipment
On-set management and direction
Create SOW’s for contractors and route executed documents to legal in accordance with their specifications
Work closely with video editors, helping to manage timelines, and get all projects delivered on deadline
Maintain quality, style and aesthetic standards as directed by Creative Director of Video and Sr. Video Director/Editors
Coordinate with Senior Video Director and Motion Designer to assign and create all necessary graphics
Write scripts and select soundbites to craft final story as needed for compilations and other editorial initiatives
Work across several productions simultaneously
Maintain database of vetted freelancers (DP, Editor, Producer) and engage them when necessary, only after discussion and approval by Sr. Producer
Manage all pre-production, production, post-production, and publishing logistics and deliverables for assigned projects
Maintain and ensure content archive is searchable, and content can be revisited and utilized at a moment’s notice
Innovate on uses for archival content, extending the value of core video assets
Ensure proper media management for all staff and contract crew

The Ideal Candidate:

3-5+ years of experience producing premium editorial video in a fast-paced, digital publishing or streaming environment
A demonstrable history of creating exceptional video, involved from concept through delivery
Possesses a strong sense of story and has experience collaborating with other departments/stakeholders
Extremely organized to the point of multiple simultaneous projects being second nature
The ability to create incredibly high production value even with small budgets
Unflappable under pressure with tight deadlines
Well versed in social media on all relevant platforms
Knowledge of the digital video business ecosystem
Ambitious to constantly evolve with the media zeitgeist
A freelancer network of DP’s, editors, animators and below-the-line crew in many cities in the U.S. and globally
Travel required on an as-needed basis

The annual base salary range for this role is $70,000 - $85,000
