Senior Reporter, C-Suite Newsletters

Forbes is a leader in C-Suite coverage. We are re-envisioning our newsletter portfolio, taking a lively community-focused and expert-based approach to grow our readership. The newsletter writer will chronicle the most important stories, new ideas and perspectives on issues most relevant to C-Suite audiences. Your work will include news analysis, some fresh reporting and aggregating C-Suite-relevant news and commentary from Forbes.com and off-site.You must be enthusiastic about building this audience, mainly C-level and people generally interested in business and leadership issues. You must be able to stay on top of the news and broader conversations and write for a highly experienced and knowledgeable audience.

Responsibilities:

Reporting, aggregation and production for four newsletters weekly, each one targeted to a specific job title, such as CIO, CMO and CFO (this may change)
Collaborating with stakeholders inside the newsroom and other departments, including reporters, editors, growth, audience development, and revenue

The ideal candidate

Between 4-6 years of writing in a digital newsroom. Experience in business journalism is a must; a focus on C-Suite and leadership issues is preferred.
Ability to write clean, compelling storylines in a smart, clear, authoritative and original voice
Experience or interest in working with newsletters and actively building and engaging with newsletter audiences
Deadline and detail-oriented
Engaging interpersonal communication skills—we want people who are passionate about their work

The annual base salary range for this role is $70,000 - $80,000
