Job Description
FOX Sports is looking for a Freelance Gambling Editor to join the Digital Team in Los Angeles, CA. As the Freelance Gambling Editor, you will write and edit daily content around sports betting, including reaction to breaking news, analysis of big events and odds around them, and other content that aims to educate and entertain.
a Snapshot Of Your Responsibilities
Provide contributors with relevant data on what topics, themes and events are trending and how people are discussing said topics in order to best engage fans interested in sports betting
Collaborate with video and production teams to produce similar video content related to sports gambling
Utilize analytics, research and other data for content creation
Display outstanding news judgment, skilled storytelling ability, expertise in sports gambling, thorough knowledge of digital best practices (including SEO, social platforms and content sharing), and a strong knowledge of journalistic principals and methods
Research and brainstorming of editorial content
What You Will Need
3+ years of relevant work experience
Deep knowledge of the AP style writing
