Big Spaceship is seeking a Freelance Content Creator to serve as a creative powerhouse for a CPG Sports brand. You can do it all: concept, shoot, edit, design, produce, and post. You’re fluent in social channels, live on and for the Internet, and you LOVE to MAKE.
Our client is a new energy drink. Created specifically for athletes, the product helps fuel you up before the gym, a game, or anything else you need to dominate. The product launched earlier this year, so our content is all about driving awareness and excitement. While we’re made by a big player in the sports drink world, this is ENERGY - we’re not afraid to have fun on social, exploring humor, trends, and other insights around athletes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with the Creative team to brainstorm inventive content ideas and topics that drive engagement. Each week you’ll be responsible for coming to the brainstorm with ideas for videos, and then executing those concepts - some might be your idea, our creative team might provide some. Below are some themes we explore in our content:
Cultural sports commentary (mainly basketball, football, soccer, and baseball)
Athletic mindset (what it’s like to work out or do things with this drink)
How the drink makes you feel (embodying the energy)
Platform trends (quick-turn concepts)
Develop, plan, and execute (shoot + edit) social media assets on TikTok and Reels on a weekly basis. Assets range in length, but typically will be:06 -:30 seconds. We typically shoot for 2-3 videos per week.
Stay up to date and help create against viral trends and critical moments as they come and go. From platform trends to current events in the world of sports, we’re looking for our weekly content to be topical
Create content using best practices & optimization tactics (ie lit well, shot, and edited to feel platform native, supers and captions fall within the safe space)
Optimize and edit based on client feedback. This may mean revising a caption or reshooting a scene.
