Freelance/Contract Social Media Content & Copywriter

$35 – $40 per hour

April Ford is currently recruiting for a Freelance/Contract Social Media Content & Copywriter to work with it's in-house team. This is a work from home position, with consistent hours available for the right candidates.

This position will create social media content, both copy and design in Canva for a variety of industries as well copywriting for email marketing newsletters, blogs and websites as projects require it.

The role is suited to someone who has proven experience in writing short format, social media posts who can confidently write from a brief and is proactive in achieving the outcomes required. Creating corresponding design static and video assets in Canva will also be required.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

3+ years experience in writing, editing and managing social media content for Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
Experience in Canva, creating design assets in both static and video format
Experience in a social media scheduling software
Completed marketing/communications tertiary education
Strong attention to detail, excellent spelling and grammar is essential

Those looking to apply should have previous experience working for/with agencies, and be available to complete work in AU business hours.

It is important to note that we work inside a project management software (Asana) for all communication, briefing and time tracking.

Consistent ongoing work with contractor agreements or permanent positions for the right candidates are available.
