Freelance Cybersecurity Writer

We’re looking for an experienced cybersecurity writer for our new blog. Our readers care about protecting their devices from malware, avoiding data theft, safeguarding their privacy — and you'll be the one educating them on these topics.

You can expect to write 5-10 articles per month, each between 1,000 and 2,000 words. You'll also prepare screenshots to illustrate your writing. This is a freelance opportunity on a pay-per-article basis, so you can be located anywhere. However, preference will be given to native speakers of English.

Requirements:

Demonstrable experience writing about cybersecurity and privacy
In-depth knowledge of the topic
Native English proficiency
Access to a Mac and an iPhone (you'll need it)
Strong research skills
Ability to write clear, straightforward guides and tutorials
Understanding of on-page SEO
Experience writing for a brand and adapting your voice to brand guidelines
Ability to meet deadlines and incorporate feedback
A working Google Account and familiarity with Google Docs
