Denver private investigations firm run by former reporter seeks private investigator for 10 to 20 hours per week. Great opportunity to do in-depth investigative work on major cases, some of which are in the media. Work includes: locating and interviewing witnesses; obtaining court, police, etc. files; researching news stories; internet and social media research; writing reports. Spanish fluency a plus. Investigative work is performed mainly for attorneys and includes civil and criminal cases ranging from police shootings to car crashes. Candidates must be highly accurate, dogged in the pursuit of documents, and able to interview individuals of varied ages, races and economic backgrounds regarding sensitive topics. Note: This job may not fit the private investigator stereotype. This company does not do surveillance and has never done a cheating spouse case. Investigators working for attorneys must be 100% open and honest about who they are and who they work for.
