Role Description

This is a freelance remote role for a Sports Writer. The Sports Writer will be responsible for creating and editing sports-related articles and will also have the opportunity to create YouTube shows, shorts, or podcast content if desired. The Writer will have complete freedom to cover their favorite teams, leagues, sports, etc.

Qualifications

Sports knowledge
Excellent Writing and Communication skills
Strong ability to work independently with little supervision
Daily Slack activity and communication.

Experience in the following areas would be beneficial but is not required:

Previous freelance or blog writing experience
Working knowledge SEO best practices
Understanding of social media and content distribution strategies
