The Trade Marketing team champions and communicates Future’s brand through creative story-telling and strategic Marketing and PR campaigns. The team's objective is to drive awareness of Future and create commercial opportunities through sales collaterals, events, and PR.

What you'll be doing…

The PR Director role is a new position within Future, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that build awareness of Future and our phenomenal portfolio of brands.

The aim of this role is to build relationships with key media contacts and influencers in order to accelerate Future’s brand-building strategy across owned and earned channels. The Director will pitch stories to the media, write impactful press releases, write award submissions, pitch for speaking opportunities and lead our social media activity.

You will work alongside our marketing and leadership teams to increase the visibility of Future’s flagship brands and senior leaders. A deep understanding of the media industry and relationships with key media outlets alongside the ability to work across time zones and communicate with multi-disciplinary teams is the key to success in this role.

Experience in executing PR strategies for a multi-brand or media company would be highly advantageous. You will need to possess exceptional writing skills, strong knowledge of social media management, and be able to use data to tell impactful stories. The ideal candidate is a strategic and creative thinker with a strong work ethic and can-do attitude.

Reporting to the Trade Marketing Director based in London, you will join a thriving team of marketing professionals.

Develop brand-building PR strategy across Future and our flagship brands
Execute day-to-day PR activities
Identify and build relationships with key media contacts
Create compelling stories for web, social, events, and awards
Monitor press activity and report results
Work effectively with our leadership teams through strong communication skills and excellent time management.

This role requires you to collaborate with multiple departments in a global business. We’re a high-performing team and looking for someone who’s comfortable working across time zones, and who can bring new ideas that deliver outstanding brand awareness.

Existing relationships with key media outlets and bloggers
Experience delivering impactful PR strategies that drive awareness
Experience of the media and advertising industry or working in-house within an international, multi-brand environment
Strong knowledge of the media landscape and the latest trends
Experienced in writing for multiple channels - website, social, email
Experienced in developing social media and content calendars
Excellent working knowledge of press monitoring tools and reporting
Excellent working knowledge of Wordpress and Google Workspace Suite
A demonstrable record of working with international teams, across multiple brands and delivering to deadline
You have the ability to cultivate relationships, gain trust and respect, and facilitate efficient, transparent communication
You are highly collaborative in nature, with a proven ability to drive collaboration through excellent interpersonal skills
You enjoy a role that always brings new challenges to solve and are adept at managing change
