GamesRadar+ is one of the world’s biggest gaming sites, helping readers find not just the best gaming products at the best prices, but lots of cool items from the wider entertainment world, be it a new TV, board games, movie streaming service, or cool merchandise.
We’re looking for a talented, SEO-savvy writer with experience in journalism or marketing to work alongside the Tabletop & Merch Editor as a crucial part of our Hardware and eCommerce team’s strategy to cover a variety of verticals across the tabletop RPG, board game, toy, and collectibles space.
What you'll be doing…
As Tabletop & Merch Writer at GamesRadar+, you'll get to test and write about a wide range of items across the world of tabletop RPGs, board games, Lego, action figures, Nerf, 3D printers (with regards to miniatures or cosplay), and more.
You’ll also regularly write news stories on products within the vertical or deal posts when favourites like D&D books get a tempting price cut. Similarly, we cover the big annual sale events like Black Friday and Prime Day with targeted approaches to make sure GamesRadar+ highlights the best offers in our field of expertise.
Experience that will put you ahead of the curve…
Spotless spelling and grammar.
Ability to write quickly and accurately.
A basic understanding of SEO - we’ll help you become a master.
An enthusiastic knowledge of tabletop and board gaming, and merch.
Knowledge of Magic: The Gathering, the Pokemon Trading Card Game, Lego, and collectibles like action figures would be particularly valuable.
You know where to find great deals or compare prices.
Ability to take the initiative and approach us with new ideas.

This is a Hybrid role from our Bath Office, working three days from the office, two from home.
