GB News, one of the fastest-growing media brands in Britain, is looking for a Video Editor (Digital Producer) to join the team in our fast-paced London newsroom.
If you’re a talented video editor looking to take the next step in your career and are keen to work in television and digital publishing, this could be the ideal move for you.
We broadcast live for 18 hours-a-day, are fiercely protective of free speech and believe all perspectives have a genuine right to be heard.
We reach 3.3m people-a-month across TV and radio and now we’re rapidly growing our digital presence too, across our increasingly popular website, apps and social channels.
We’re looking for ambitious individuals to join a small and driven team of digital producers in charge of online output for the channel.
As well as clipping and editing the best moments from GB News TV, you’ll also have the chance to produce original video content yourself, so a creative streak and desire to develop new concepts and formats is an advantage.
This role is about much more than just video editing though. You’ll also be posting across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok – so a love of social media and experience in maximising reach on those platforms is essential.
We’re all about collaboration so you’ll also have the chance to work closely with our website’s publishing team and build other skills, including digital publishing, SEO and analytics.
Applicants must be skilled in Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects. A strong knowledge of media law and Ofcom is required.
You should also be flexible and willing to work across a seven-day rota which covers 18 hours of live programming-a-day, including early mornings and late evenings.
This is a unique opportunity to develop your career and skillset at one of Britain’s most exciting and talked-about media brands.
