The Vineyard Gazette, an independent, award-winning weekly newspaper, has an immediate opening for a general assignment reporter on the beautiful island of Martha’s Vineyard. We are seeking candidates with excellent writing and editing skills, a curious mind and a nose for news. Multimedia experience is a plus. The Vineyard Gazette is committed to in-depth, fact-based reporting, stylish writing and journalism that enlightens and elevates the community. The newspaper continues to be printed each week at its historic headquarters in Edgartown, but the Gazette also maintains a strong digital presence through its website, vineyardgazette.com. Full-time position offers health insurance and salary commensurate with experience. Candidates must have a car and a valid driver’s license. Housing may be available.
