General Community News Reporter

The Keizertimes, an award-winning community newspaper, seeks an experienced reporter to cover news incuding, but not limited to: city government, police and crime, city issues (development, etc.), news business, special section reporting, and other beats as assisned. Position works from Keizer office, 8 am-5 pm Monday-Friday. Covering night meetings is requied as are occasional weekend duties. Hired candidate must have working knowledge of Adobe InDesign; photography skills is a must. Reportter will post stories to our website every day. At least one-year of experience in a newsroom is expected to be eligible for an interview. Benefits inclcude: health and dental benefits. Vacation after one year of service.
