Granite Media is seeking a senior editor to manage and grow our site Work + Money, covering issues related to personal finance and career.

We believe that how we work and the financial choices we make are meaningful, complex and interesting. They are the building blocks of our personal lives and of our collective values. They tell us, in part, who we are and who we want to be. We are looking for a creative, experienced editor who can spot great stories and work with a team of writers to develop and deliver them.

The editor will work closely with Granite’s editor in chief to assess and develop Work + Money’s editorial strategy. While the senior editor must work well independently, they should also be eager to participate in a collaborative office environment.

This is a permanent staff position, including benefits, at 32 hours per week (80% time). This team member can be based in our San Francisco and/or Palo Alto offices, or the role can be fulfilled remotely by someone willing to travel periodically.
