Job Summary/Description:

KWCH/KSCW is looking for a dynamic digital anchor/content creator to contribute to the online and social media platforms by identifying the best live video feeds and breaking news from our digital streaming center. This anchor/reporter will also anchor live coverage and presentations on our OTT platforms.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Ability to identify, write, edit, and present stories from our digital steaming center for morning newscasts
Produce, present, and technically direct content from our streaming center using live video, cameras, and graphics elements
Must be knowledgeable of community issues and current events
Able to anchor live news coverage as it is happening on our OTT platforms

Qualifications/Requirements:

Previous reporting or producing experience is preferred for this position
Great communication skills are a must; ability to anchor live news coverage as it is happening
Comfortable, confident, and competent live reporting/anchoring experience
Strong news judgment
A college degree in journalism, broadcasting, or communication arts
