Job Summary/Responsibilities:
The dominant #1 NBC affiliate in Quincy, Illinois, has an immediate opening for a News Producer to produce our #1 newscasts and provide content to our digital platforms.
Your focus will be on producing real-time content for TV, Radio, Social Media, and digital platforms.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Four-year college degree preferred with significant news gathering, writing, and producing experience.
Strong writing skills are critical.
Clear understanding of the principles of broadcast journalism.
Ability to demonstrate personal characteristics such as professionalism, persuasiveness, and aggressiveness which are necessary for effective news writing.
Prior experience using news computer software programs is preferred.
