ENG Media in Swan Hill has an exciting opportunity for an experienced journalist to join their team at The Guardian and Gannawarra Times.

Swan Hill is located on the banks of the beautiful Murray River, 4 hours north of Melbourne, and is a diverse multicultural town with a strong sense of community. Swan Hill is a fantastic place to relocate to with lots to offer from exploring the diverse outdoors, areas rich in history, an array of sporting activities, social events, community groups, with lots of delicious local produce and speciality stores. With accessibility to a wide range of health care facilities and providers.

The position would ideally suit a career driven experienced journalist looking to grow their opportunities in a busy regional newsroom, with the potential for advancement within the editorial department.

You must demonstrate a keen interest in sourcing creative local news to be delivered across multi-media platforms.

Candidates should have the capacity to write about a broad range of topics and be willing to cover features when required. Creative ideas will be encouraged.

Excellent spelling and grammar skills are essential, and a high level of computer literacy is desired.

The role is full time, working in both our Swan Hill and Kerang news offices.
