The Havre Daily News, a five-day-a-week newspaper located on the Montana Hi-Line, has an immediate opening for a full-time reporter. This is a great position for a young reporter looking to break into sports reporting or a seasoned sports reporter looking for a change of pace. The ideal candidate for this position is self-motivated but able to take direction and can work individually or with a team.

You will cover the ins and outs of local government in Havre and Hill County such as the Havre City Council, Hill County Commissioners and the Havre Public Schools Board of Trustees. You will also have the opportunity to profile the various businesses and people that make up the city of Havre.
