Sports Reporter

The Havre Daily News, a five-day-a-week newspaper located on the Montana Hi-Line, has an immediate opening for a full-time sports reporter. This is a great position for a young reporter looking to break into sports reporting or a seasoned sports reporter looking for a change of pace. The ideal candidate for this position is self-motivated but able to take direction and can work individually or with a team.

As the Havre sports reporter, you will be the source for Hill County when it comes to high school sports and the Montana State University - Northern Lights. Coverage areas also include hockey, baseball and rodeo.

This position provides a flexible schedule with work mostly on the evenings and weekends. Previous sports writing experience is preferred, but not required.
