The Nation’s Health shares the news that public health professionals need to know as they work to protect and improve the health of Americans — from the latest on disease outbreaks and vaccinations to equity and infrastructure. As a reporter for The Nation’s Health, you’ll write news stories on public health and association activities and work on our website, podcasts, weekly quiz and more. If you love deadlines, inverted pyramids and AP style, you’ll fit right in with our team of journalists. A journalism or related degree and at least five years professional news writing experience is preferred.

Position is based in downtown DC near several metro stations. Hybrid work environment.
