Role Description: As a senior editor for Homes.com (a subsidiary of CoStar Group), you'll be an integral part of a growing editorial team creating stories that give home buyers a window into the lifestyle and vibe of neighborhoods around the country as they shop for their new homes. Plus, you're helping agents grow their business by connecting with new clients.

Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage a team of editors to help guide reporting, writing and editing of neighborhood content to ensure it aligns with the Homes.com brand vision.
Review and edit neighborhood, parks and schools content to ensure quality and consistency.
Assist with recruiting, training and onboarding of new writers and content editors.
Work closely with the Director, Residential Content to determine voice and structure to enhance storytelling.
Identify concerns with content, production and quality and offer guidance on how to improve it.
Coordinate and communicate regularly with other senior editors to establish uniformity across all content.
Lead and assist with special projects as needed.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English or communications from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College
A track record of commitment to prior employers.
10+ years of professional editing experience
5-7 years of experience as a people manager
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to successfully multi-task and manage assignments through multiple stages of production
A highly collaborative team player who is not afraid to speak up or ask questions
A master of words who knows how to expertly craft a story
Strong verbal and written communication skills
