Editorial Fellow

The Information is opening applications for our 2022-2023 Editorial Fellowship. This is a six-month paid program for journalists early in their career to develop their business reporting skills by joining a team of award-winning journalists and editors passionate about covering the tech industry and how it is changing society. The fellowship starts in January 2023. During this full-time program, reporters will hone their skills at source development, beat reporting, financial analysis, journalism ethics and writing. Reporters typically publish a range of articles for our website and email subscribers, from earnings briefs to features, interviews and newsletters. We are a collegial newsroom with a flat structure, which means fellowship reporters have the opportunity to collaborate with highly experienced reporters and editors and write about a variety of companies and topics—from the streaming wars to cryptocurrency startups to tech policy. The role has the opportunity to convert to a full-time job at the end of the fellowship.
