Qualifications
Three (3) years’ experience operating video cameras and editing equipment. Ability to record, edit and execute segments. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Knowledge of field production techniques and standards.
Experience with livestream events including video switchers, cameras, event production, and set-up/tear-down a plus.
Strong attention to detail, interpersonal and communication skills required.
Ability to produce video content in a timely manner.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Project an appropriate professional appearance and demeanor.
Experience working as a team member with the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with a variety of individuals.
Ability to follow direction but take initiative when needed.
Ability to work on short deadlines and in pressure situations as well as in the evening and weekends.
Reliable transportation. Valid drivers’ license and clean driving history as determined by the Company.
Physical requirements
Sits or stands for extended periods of time. Ability to hear clearly. Manual dexterity to manipulate computer keys, camera, and other controls as well as other office equipment. Must have good vision and hearing and be able to discern video and sound on many platforms. Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing. Able to drive own vehicle for the purpose of meeting clients and attending events. Requires the ability to think creatively and tactically and to articulate information in a clear and concise manner to others verbally and in writing. This position develops and curates engaging content for radio brands, digital agency, and clients including but not limited to special projects, sales programs, campaigns, and features for all digital media platforms while leading in the creation, production, and editing of written, video, animation, and photo content. They also create content that supports the execution of a results and revenue-driven content strategy.
Job Responsibilities
Produce social media focused video assets for radio brands including shooting, editing audio/sound recording, and lighting.
Assist with organizing client-focused video proposals. Ideate concepts, approve deliverables, participate in kick off calls and lead discussions on video production.
Produce client focused projects including shooting, editing, audio/sound recording and lighting.
Assist, and with some projects, take the lead in pre-production including:
Ideating content.
Create shot lists.
Create on-site timelines.
Manage equipment and props list.
Serve as On-Site Production Lead with the following duties:
Manage production on-site (lighting, sound, camera).
Communicate with client on-site to make sure expectations are met and exceeded.
Shoot video content.
Post-production duties include editing, ensures all freelance/vendor and internal work is completed, debrief all parties.
Assist and/or back up Graphic Designer in execution: designing logos, banners, ads, social media posts, and eblast images.
Produce graphic animations for video intros, standalone social media assets, client focused assets, and programming-initiated projects.
Manage, organize, inventory, and maintain radio videos, production gear including lights, cameras, etc.
Build and maintain good working relationships with co-workers, clients, vendors, and the public. Act in a professional manner when representing the company.
Report to work on time and work established schedule/hours. Ability to work other hours or alternate schedules as needed.
Work on other projects as assigned.
Attend and participate meetings as needed.
