About The Role

We are looking for a part-time editorial writer to collaborate with various pediatric experts to create engaging and insightful short-form mobile content. The successful candidate should have a strong sense of voice and impeccable writing skills. They should be comfortable interviewing subject matter experts and have strong self-editing skills. This person will understand different content platforms and be able to package content for an exclusively mobile audience. The focus of all content will be on child development and parenting topics.

Huckleberry’s content is trusted across the world. Everything we create is in collaboration with and medically reviewed by our team of experts, including pediatricians, OB-GYNs, sleep consultants, and more. Our content is always clear, informative, and compassionate, with a strong dose of relatability and humor.

This is a fully remote, 20-hours-per-week (flexible hours), 12-month contract opportunity.

Areas of Responsibility

Write short-form content related to child development and parenting topics for an exclusively mobile audience
Conduct interviews with pediatric experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of content
Package and reformat existing content to fit mobile platforms
Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Collaborate with our team to develop content ideas
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments in child development and parenting
