Sports Reporter

The Idaho Press, the largest print-circulated newspaper in the state covering the burgeoning Treasure Valley, is seeking a sports reporter.

The reporter’s main responsibility will be covering over 30 high school sports programs primarily in the cities of Boise, Meridian, Nampa and Caldwell. We want a reporter who can write compelling features, break news in a competitive market, and advance and cover the big games. The candidate must have strong digital skills, with the ability to break news on IdahoPress.com, command a strong social media presence and be video savvy.

The reporter will also have the opportunity to periodically assist in coverage of Boise State athletics, secondary colleges in the area and minor league sports.
