Editor of Freelance

Insider Inc. is hiring an editor of freelance to join the Contributors and Freelance team of Insider’s business division. This is a full-time position based in our New York office with the option to work remotely. The editor will work under the senior editor of freelance to assign out and edit stories written by freelance writers for Insider’s non-paywalled business section. They will be comfortable and excited about working across all our verticals and help the team connect with new writers across subject areas. The editor will also work closely with internal editors to source ideas and build off breaking news stories. They will edit posts for spelling and grammar, structure, flow, style, and accuracy.
