Fellow, Global News Correspondents

Insider is hiring a fellow to work with our Global News Correspondents team, a global network of freelancers covering global stories that have major impact. This fellow will report to the deputy editor of the Global News Correspondents team (https://www.businessinsider.com/category/news-freelancer). On a daily basis, this fellow would assist the deputy editor with uploading stories to our content management system, selecting images for stories, fact-checking stories, and reviewing pitches. The fellow would also assist with social media promotion and seek out potential contributors. This role is ideal for someone with an interest in editing global features and/or photo-driven stories. Please note: this is not a reporting role. The ideal candidate is excited by a breadth of topics, and by the prospect of working with a variety of writers. You should be a self-starter who has a passion for finding and telling great stories. We value flexibility, creativity, accountability, and a diversity of ideas and opinions.
