Hedge Fund Reporter

Insider’s finance desk is seeking a full-time reporter to write about the biggest and most important hedge funds in the US. We’re looking for a smart, resourceful, and aggressive reporter who can get scoops, spot industry trends early on, identify the people and themes that are the talk of the $4 trillion hedge fund industry, and write with skill and insight. The ideal candidate is a flexible and creative reporter with robust sources or have a track record of cultivating new ones. They’re comfortable with a range of story types and eager to learn what kinds of stories work behind a paywall. They’re able to see the big picture and explain complex topics in a conversational way to smart, but busy readers. They enjoy collaborating with colleagues on their own and other teams.
