PURPOSE OF ROLE:
Reporting to the SEO Manager, the Content Writer - SIPP Specialist plays a crucial role in the Digital Product Growth team at interactive investor. This role is dedicated to creating educational and evergreen SEO content with a focus on Self-Invested Personal Pensions (SIPPs). The primary objective is to drive organic search volumes up by providing valuable, optimized content that educates and engages our target audience in the realm of SIPPs.
The Content Writer - SIPP Specialist plays a pivotal role in enhancing interactive investor's online presence, providing valuable information to investors, and increasing organic search traffic. By creating informational content, this role significantly contributes to the company's digital growth and positioning as a trusted financial resource in the SIPP space.
Requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Collaborate with the SEO Manager to develop content strategies that align with organic growth goals and contribute to increased search visibility.
• Be the subject matter expert in SIPPs to create accurate, informative, and engaging content
• Work closely with SIPP Product and Proposition teams on roadmap, planning and content management
• Write high-quality, informative articles, guides, and blog posts centered around SIPPs, catering to both beginners and experienced investors.
• Create evergreen content that remains relevant and valuable over time, establishing interactive investor as a trusted source of information.
• Review, edit and improve existing digital content to improve authority and quality
• Upload and format content in CMS
• Develop educational resources that help readers understand complex financial concepts and make informed investment decisions.
• Craft content that engages the target audience, encourages interaction, and addresses their questions and concerns.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote content through various channels, including social media and email marketing.
• Monitor the performance of content using analytics tools and adjust strategies based on data-driven insights.
• Upload content to the CMS and make edits to content within the CMS.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Essential
• Proven experience as a content writer with a specialism in pensions, especially Self-Invested Personal Pensions (SIPPs.)
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts.
• Understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
• Knowledge of investment products, financial markets, and the regulatory environment.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and basic HTML preferred
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
