WFAA is conducting a national search for an Investigative Reporter committed to hard-hitting impactful journalism that uncovers needed answers for the communities we serve in North Texas. WFAA has a rich tradition of investigative journalism, with an unwavering commitment to explore deep-seated problems, expose public corruption, and share in-depth stories that lead to change with real impact in the community. Our investigative team has long been recognized by some of the top honors for investigative journalism and remains the only local TV investigative team to win the Alfred I. duPont-Columbia Gold Baton. We produce a diverse array of stories, conducting both short-term and long-term investigations, including documentaries. The WFAA team utilizes public records, deep research, in-depth interviews, and systematic reviews of information to hold the powerful accountable with the goal of making our society more just, safe, and equitable.
