InvestorPlace, one of the largest and fastest-growing financial publishers in the world with 10 million+ monthly readers and one of The Baltimore Sun’s “Top Workplaces,” is looking for a Senior Managing Editor to lead our Louis Navellier franchise. We work hard to educate, entertain, and enrich our readers through newsletters and other services that allow them to take control of their financial lives. Helping people achieve financial independence is what we love to do.
Our ideal Senior Managing Editor will have an appetite for new and challenging opportunities in digital media, including newsletter publishing, blog posting, podcasting, and video. You’ll collaborate up and down our entire organization in order to promote the services you lead, develop our audiences across channels, and provide input on our several investment advisory services.
As Senior Managing Editor of the Navellier franchise, you’ll work with some of InvestorPlace’s top analysts/writers to plan, write, edit, and build our publications, including free e-letters, monthly and weekly newsletters, regular updates for those newsletters, and two trading services.
You will also take charge in producing web content, webinar and audio segments, and special reports. As a lead member of our Editorial team, you’ll work closely with our Project Management, Marketing, Video Production, Design, and Customer Service and Sales teams to lead the day-to-day administration of the Navellier franchise.
An average week in the Navellier franchise typically includes 10 pieces of editorial fulfillment. We publish six different paid newsletters and four free articles. In addition, we write, edit, and publish special reports, build and send e-mails to our subscribers, manage social media accounts, and keep track of the newsletters’ stock performance using Excel and Google spreadsheets.
This position is “hybrid,” split between working remotely and our Baltimore office, but remote candidates will also be considered.
We’re looking for self-motivated candidates who are lifelong learners and are ready to lead a fast-paced team. If that sounds like you, we encourage you to apply!
