Senior Writer/News Editor, Investors’ Chronicle

Investors’ Chronicle, the investment magazine and website, is looking for a bright, numerate senior financial journalist to provide in-depth news, analysis and comment on quoted companies and the wider investment industry. The job centres on assessing the performance and the prospects of the companies listed on global stock markets but also investment trends and how investing in companies fits into the wider investment world. You will be required to produce a variety of content including news and results analysis, podcasts, share tips, comment and print features. The ability to analyse corporate statements and industry data and come to well-argued conclusions is more important than any specific qualifications. Previous experience of equity markets would be a clear advantage. As a senior member of the team, the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to editing copy and also supporting more junior members of the team via our mentoring initiative.
