News Producer

To supply on-the-day news content to ITN's global partners by editing and logging rushes, shot listing bulletins and producing fast turnaround edits for use on broadcast and digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver content to clients
Stay across the day's news agenda
Monitor incoming feeds
Create shot-lists by logging footage, live feeds and bulletins
Produce fast-turnaround edits of news footage using Avid Newscutter / Avid Media Composer
Remain calm under pressure
Feel comfortable dealing with clients
Help deliver a consistently high-quality service

Key Requirements

A recognised journalism qualification
A minimum 1 years’ experience working in a newsroom
Solid news judgement
Video editing and scriptwriting skills
Good knowledge of Ofcom regulations and copyright

HOURS / LENGTH OF CONTRACT:

Rotates through four-week shift patten
Includes evening and weekend shifts plus days off during the week
