Arcadia University is looking for a storyteller and writer to join our MarCom team in an entry-level position as a Copywriter. The ideal candidate is a multi-talented individual who can craft engaging copy, produce marketing content, and use their creativity to share stories that capture the University and its community. Part of the Communications team at Arcadia University, the Copywriter is integral to the University's internal and external communications storytelling and marketing strategies.

Responsibilities
Build the Arcadia University brand narrative through stories highlighting University community members, including students, faculty, staff, alumni, friends, and donors.
Support all internal and departmental communications efforts, crafting and disseminating messaging and storytelling.
Write for and help to produce the weekly internal Arcadia newsletter.
Collaborate with Arcadia's social media manager on news postings and information sharing.
Serve as a copywriter and copyeditor for University messaging, publications, and communications.
Assist staff as needed to promote a team effort and support University initiatives.
Be an active and positive MarCom team member who contributes to team meetings with energy and is an active Arcadia community member.
Cover and work University events as needed.
Qualifications
This is an entry-level position for someone with 1-2 years of experience in public relations, copywriting, or similar on-the-job or internship experience.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in journalism, public relations, or communications.
Experience drafting and reviewing copy.
Skills needed:
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
The ideal candidate will be versed in SEO basics to apply across channels.
Must be meticulous and detail-oriented.
Experience with copyediting and copywriting for publications.
Experience with web content management systems is a plus.
Experience with basic design or messaging platforms is a plus.
