We are looking for a News Reporter to join Global Data Review (GRR) in our London office. GDR reports on the investigations, litigation and policymaking that affect data – ranging from GDPR investigations to the global overhaul of artificial intelligence regulation.
The GDR editorial team is responsible for generating daily news and longer-form analysis that keeps our global subscription base up to date with key global developments. This is a unique opportunity to join an international team that reports on some of the most important topics facing the tech industry and business as a whole. Our reporters are well-regarded experts who spot opportunities to generate stories from courts, data, policy changes, and relationships with lawyers and policymakers. All members of the editorial team have opportunities to travel internationally.
You do not need specific experience of data protection or legal matters more generally – but we expect reporters to be able to structure a hard news story, have a nose for a good lead and an ability to network with senior decision-makers. A journalism or legal qualification is preferable, but not at all necessary.
GDR is part of Law Business Research (LBR), a technology-driven information services business powering the global legal industry. We deliver must-have intelligence to our clients when they need it, through a combination of time-sensitive insight, proprietary data and analytics, expert research, and sophisticated tools across a range of specialist platforms.
