Are you a reporter with a passionate desire to hold our school systems accountable, tell the compelling human interest stories of students and keep parents on the cutting edge of news they can use? If so, you're the education reporter The Globe Gazette is looking for. Though some school board meeting coverage will be required, we're looking for a reporter who can generate several stories a week while juggling long-term projects and Sunday news features and analytical pieces. Applicants will have a bachelor's degree, preferably at least a year’s reporting experience at a newspaper or equivalent media company and an unquenchable desire to tell the stories that matter most.
